Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Transport of the Democratic Republic of Congo, recently hosted the Secretary General of the Maritime Organisation for Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa (MOESNA), Mr. Kassim Mpaata at his office in Kinshasa.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening regional maritime governance, addressing critical challenges in the sector, and exploring avenues to enhance collaboration under MOESNA’s framework. Hon. Minister reaffirmed the DRC’s strong support for MOESNA’s vision and underscored the country’s commitment to actively contributing to the advancement of maritime development across the region.
