MOESNA was honored to host a delegation from the TASAC, United Republic of Tanzania.
The delegation, led by Mr. King N. Chiragi, TASAC Board Member was warmly welcomed by the Secretary General, Mr. Kassim K. Mpaata, who expressed gratitude to the United Republic of Tanzania for her commitment to the ideals of MOESNA and for the role TASAC plays in the promotion of maritime trade within the region.
Matters discussed include the ratification, domestication and implementation of Global Maritime Treaties and Protocols, initiatives that enhance shipping and maritime operations within the ESNA region, capacity building and Maritime training for the sector, development of information sharing frameworks, enhancement of marine environmental protection and promotion of maritime safety and security.
